About the Role
We are seeking a Global IT & MIS Manager to lead our global information technology operations. Reporting to the COO, you will ensure our technology systems, infrastructure, and digital tools are secure, scalable, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives — while driving the adoption of AI and automation across the business.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement IT & MIS strategies and policies that align with the company's business objectives
- Own and manage the global IT budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across infrastructure, security, and innovation initiatives
- Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, ensuring they have the resources and support to deliver high-quality services to the business
- Build and maintain effective relationships with executive leadership, department heads, and key external partners/vendors
- Lead the implementation and integration of new technology solutions (cloud, on-prem, and hybrid), ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
- Oversee the company's Microsoft 365 / cloud ecosystem, including identity management, collaboration tools, and enterprise licensing (e.g., E5) to maximize value and security posture
- Drive modernization of legacy systems and infrastructure to support scalability and global operations
- Own the security and integrity of the company's data and IT systems, including Zero Trust architecture, endpoint protection, and identity/access management
- Establish and maintain a third-party/supplier cybersecurity and AI risk assessment program to evaluate vendors before onboarding
- Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, and defense/government-sector security standards where applicable)
- Define and lead the organization's AI adoption and governance strategy, including evaluation, piloting, and responsible deployment of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, and other enterprise AI platforms) across business functions
- Establish AI usage policies, risk guardrails, and employee enablement programs to ensure safe and effective adoption
- Identify emerging technology trends (AI, automation, cloud, cybersecurity) and assess their potential impact on company operations, proactively bringing recommendations to leadership
- Oversee enterprise data management and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) to ensure reliable, secure, and actionable reporting for the business
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a senior IT leadership role in a global organization
- Strong understanding of IT operations and infrastructure: network design and architecture, cloud computing (Microsoft 365/Azure or equivalent), cybersecurity, and data management
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and deploying AI tools/platforms in an enterprise setting, including governance and risk management
- Experience developing and implementing IT strategies and policies aligned with business objectives
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex technology initiatives from conception to implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
